PORTLAND, OREGON……it’s the big showdown now so i did a little historical research. it seems that until 1926 black people were not allowed in oregon. i will have to verify. but it seems that it is strongly embedded with white power groups. are they hiding in rural enclaves like California Bitters? and the portland cops are sympathizers…? well the portland protesters are putting up a great fight. i will research this.

The Vietnam War. History books and online info can tell you the mechanics, how, when, why. But i can give you a first hand account of how it ended. The unofficial start date is 1965. In California we were coming out of the clean cut years….hair spray, dress codes, car culture, teen angst music and it was starting to be replaced by longer flowing hair, beards, looser clothing with patterns, VWs(the people’s car),
Vincent Chin, iStrange Fruit, Indian reservations, great scientists, music history, great books, the Pilgrims didn’t land on Plymouth Rock, Plymouth rock landed on us!, water or lack of, ozone layer, the really great people are unnoticed, the teachers who taught YOU. the cavewomen who invented edged weapons, Lindsay Alma and Erik, YOU coulda got Manhattan for $25 worth of beads, wars, peace, Saturday cartoons, 1960’s carpetbaggers, watching clouds history, myths and legends……lots to remember.
Hopefully you paid a least SOME attention during History Class. and how it has returned to distribute Karma. ( not the vegan snack) . so here is a great history lesson from jimmy (i call him harry) chinn:

the Wuhan or Chinese virus ,as the T’RUMP BITTERS on the east coast call it ,was mild compared to these sufferers:
a. Hawaii, tahihti and the pacific island were paradises.....🏝🏝🏝🏝🏝🏝🏝were.!!!. they were friendly people and were rewarded by sailors with disease, ship rats and venereal disease. as well as the usual murder, beatings and gluttony. and like the California natives, the missionaries added slave labor and ill fitting shoes.👞👢👡🥾
at least with corona one could die alone.
b. the california natives fared worse. formerly a true paradise, the gold miners made the missionaries look like saints. I believe the rate was $5 for killing an ‘indian’. The land that Californian real estate barons have was not theirs to “buy” . the paleface miners’ virus 🦠 devastated a larger area than Hawaii.
c. the rest of the American natives didn’t have good real estate agents during Westward expansion.
So they (under ‘pressure’) just gave it away. the start of the PALEFACE VIRUS 🦠 the Chinese didn’t give them the disease. …
d. same thing happened with central and south ‘america’ and the caribbean. the last of the indigenous tribes in the amazon rainforest are soon to be wiped out by illegal gold miners and corona virus. (or chinese virus)
e. and thus , backed by history, the first real pandemic started after 1492, when the brits, french, dutch, and some from italy and portugal...any country with a port AND a Sir Donald with Chinese gunpowder , laid claim to the world and colonization became the great COLONIAL VIRUS .. Africa, South Africa!, India, China, a reluctant Japan, southeast asia, australia, ...again any country with ocean access. my own Hawaii also.... in hindsight, getting the corona and dying in the woods would’ve been better than the COLONIAL VIRUS.
It’s ironic about that the sour BITTERS in the usa and abroad who want to return to the world of their ancestors. Like the same colonialists in England that imported servants from China ,india, Africa ,Hong Kong !! ..who are now the 4th or so generation citizens of the Mother Country…..and totally reviled.
UPDATE 6/23/20 SADLY the murder of george floyd brought awareness to recent attacks and even more new caught on cameras killings. Now the historical tidbits mentioned tie in to the COLONIAL VIRUS of 1492 …..revealed and statues toppled. and as for the Brits, what started as solidarity with BLM became a realization that England was the worst of the colonial powers attempting to conquer the world. So to the British Bitters, the black ,Indian and Chinese citizens that you revile so much, were simply brought over as your servants and labor as you colonized their homeland. Plus what started as a retort to t’RUMPS RACIST blame on the Chinese for his bungling of the corona virus has now refocused negatively on his white BITTER base and their ancestors. thus the term COLONIAL VIRUS was reborn. Chris Columbus discovered the Americas and the world now knows his role in colonization. and the toppled statue of Father Junipero Serra reminds us of our own decimated native tribes in California enslaved in the missions. letting the descendants have gambling casinos is a clever way to repay them for their lost real estate 🏡 ,
Here is a funny history from jimmy chinn of Hilo, Hawaii…. When i was an intern in Atlanta and at a drunken Christmas party , “the F_____ N_____s have taken over the NFL and college football. “ the months indoors must have lightened my complexion because when i posed “do you know historically why.?” i got a lot of huhs, WTF, did you play ball?…but .i didn’t get arsenic in my can of beer. so feeling a journalistic interest i eased over to a group of our pigmented staffers. and i got a different greeting “ Hey Chinn didn’t you used to be Chinese” as 1 guy grabbed my beer and Maurice punched me hard on the bicep and “gettem a real drink” ….and on my good arm i accepted a Seagrams 7….Ignoring the throb i countered”Mo, you been working out.?”and received a howl of jeers and cheers and “don’t worry we’re not driving, Dom got a limo” …….then “ lemme guess, receiver “ and as i nodded yes, my pigmented friends rose up making me 6” shorter. and nodded “DEFENSIVE LINE , mr. fastguy”. and Dom bent down and laid a hard set of knuckles in my thigh…..in a higher pitched voice, i mustered “that all you got” and got “ no TDs on us,” that was a painfully funny history lesson. but the .Seagrams 7 dulled the pain.

OUR CHINESE SERVANTS HAD TO HAVE A DAY OFF.
i caught my grandmother feeding my high school friends who ‘happened to be looking for me’ …those puds: ‘ hey mark, we’re fine just hanging out with your grandmother….go do some homework’……right.
EATING HISTORY……..sadly i couldn’t speak cantonese , being i was locked up in Hayward, but i was able to communicate with my grandmother by her cooking and my eating. I heard later that she bragged to her mah jong friends that i ate 50 of her ha gows….in 1 sitting. I remember that morning trying to read the paper and communicate with her, but i let my stomach do the talking. it was my freshman year of college and what a treat after dorm food. so Cool Hand Luke and his eggs vs. mark jang and ha gow. 2 great records that still stand.
i also heard that she boasted that her grandson had these big white football friends who loved her cooking. ….well at least waterman and mccoin were introduced to GOOD chinese food.
