we know about Mexican Bitters first hand. true story. We used to go to Costco and were soaking in the crossroads of culture while having a cheap survival dinner. This store has patrons of Chinese, Vietnamese, Mexican, Hispanic, black, and white colors. But our reverie was shattered by a Mexican woman , 30s and munching a costco dog while proclaiming “SPEAK AMERICAN” , apparently about some Asian people speaking Chinese or Vietnamese. So i gave her “please stop” and a dismissive wave and a stink eye……nothing more. she was either visually challenged or plain stupid not to know i was Asian. she was sitting right next to me. unless she thought i would join her in her in her brown neck racist liberation. ?…? “don’t you tell me what i can do….etc. and don’t you wave at me “.
